This year I saw Fourth of July fireworks on the roof of an apartment on Park Avenue which belonged to a friend of a friend. I'm not that big a fan of fireworks but I wanted to hang out with my friend. But her friend, the one who owned the apartment is a horrible person who declaws her cats and is completely unapologetic about it. I ended a friendship of five years standing when I discovered my friend declawed her cat. And I'd do it again. I think it's horrible and cruel to do that to an animal. I'd rather have scratched up furniture than declaw my cat.
But I got some cool pix at least.
