Helen and Bob are so intent on learning who will be promoted that they don't pay attention to the unfolding tragedy downtown until Helen learns her daughter is involved.

My 9-11 play. Inspired by the fact that my daughter was working in a building next door to the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Luckily she hadn't gotten into work yet, so never got near "Ground Zero" while the disaster was happening. But what if she had taken a job next door, and gone into work early that day? The mom in this play could easily have been me.
