Communication Sonnet #1
I hope to tame you, oh you savage
Who refuses civilizing discourse
With one whom your enmity ravages.
The quarrel, the inexplicable source
Ever will thus remain undiscovered
So long as you cling to animal silence,
Hold yourself aloof, though you have hovered
Over my rhymes - you never will make sense
To me - lurking silently - do you care
In truth what I am thinking every day?
I am perturbed - but O Visitor, share
Your individual thoughts - have your say.
To speak to you would mean so much to me,
And no cost to you to set your tongue free.
